Making your clients experience working with you may seem like a waste of time. After all, they’re hiring you to do a job and get results, not to show them a good time.
However, as freelancers, we are in the business of referrals.
Referrals are great. We’re almost always guaranteed the project and the client automatically trusts you more than a cold lead.
If we want to be at the forefront of our past clients’ mind when looking for somebody to refer, we have to be memorable.
And being memorable doesn’t mean you have to be extravagant. If you think about any customer service experience you’ve had it’s generally a mixture of two things:
- It’s unexpected
- It’s a small gesture
In this course I’m going to show you some ways that you can build trust with your clients (even if you work remotely), how you can utilize your communication methods and make them more awesome and less of a time-suck and finally, I’ll share some ways that you can be memorable, professional and organized—even if you don’t feel it.
